The entire West Virginia state supreme court has been impeached for financial corruption.
West Virginia House Panel Votes To Impeach Entire Supreme Court

I'm LMAO over this. Imagine the jokes that comedians around the world will soon be telling: "I knew a man who was so poor that [put secondary funny thing here]. I felt sorry for the poor fellow. I'd lend him money, but he's about as honest as [color="DarkRed"]a West Virginia supreme court justice."
The WV state supreme court has been liberalish while under the purview of its now-indicted (or recently retired) justices. Democratic politicians are asserting that the "real corruption" should be blamed on WV Governor Jim Justice (that's his name and R), for "delaying" the impeachment of the errant justices until he could wring maximum political advantage from it.
It couldn't be that the state's House of Representatives needed time to build their case. Oh no. The Dems say that it was all about replacing the old left-leaning justices on the state supreme court with new conservative justices, whom the governor is expected to appoint. Notice how the crimes of the crooks is neglected in this scenario, as if it weren't even important.
Rap Sheet.
It began over allegations that some or all of the justices of the West Virginia state supreme court had grossly indulged themselves at taxpayer expense for upgrading the furniture and fixtures of their offices. A renovation project originally estimated to cost about $800k ended up costing about $3.7 million. A certain sofa was purchased at $32,000. Throw pillows were added at a cost of $1700.
My house and two acres of land in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, cost about the same as that sofa and those pillows did.
The accused justice who spent the greatest amount of the taxpayers' money on her office is [color="DarkRed"]Robin Jean Davis (D), who sports a hair style that is in obvious imitation of Hillary Clinton. She was indicted by the WV House of Representatives for "maladministration, corruption, incompetency, neglect of duty, and certain high crimes and misdemeanors," according to Wikipedia.
[color="darkred"]Menis E. Ketchum II (D) evaded impeachment by retiring in haste when it became clear that the jig was up. He was allowed to plead guilty to a single felony count of wire fraud.
[color="darkred"]Allen Loughry (R), famous for making speeches about honesty and integrity in government, was charged by the state Judicial Ethics Committee with 32 counts of violating the code of judicial ethics on 6 June 2018. The other crooks on the West Virginia supreme court suspended him indefinitely without pay, pending further notice. Loughry was arrested by the FBI at his home on 20 June 2018, and he was indicted that same day on 16 counts of fraud and swindling, two counts of wire fraud, one count of witness tampering, and three counts of lying to federal investigators.
[color="darkred"]Margaret Workman (D) was indicted by the WV House of Representatives for "maladministration, corruption, incompetency, neglect of duty, and certain high crimes and misdemeanors," according to Wikipedia.
[color="darkred"]Beth Walker (R) was indicted by the WV House of Representatives for "maladministration, corruption, incompetency, neglect of duty, and certain high crimes and misdemeanors," according to Wikipedia.
