[color="Sienna"]Man who attacked, beat prostitute gets 60 yrs.

A North Texas man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for abducting and [color="Red"]beating a prostitute in an attack in which he [color="red"][color="red"]carved his nickname on her legs.

A Collin County jury on Friday sentenced 28-year-old Joseph Julian Guerra over the July 2012 attack in Allen. Jurors earlier convicted Guerra of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Investigators say the [color="red"]woman worked for Guerra and he abducted and attacked her in a money dispute. Prosecutors say the woman was restrained with duct tape and Guerra used a knife to carve his nickname, Ace, on her legs. The victim escaped from Guerra's home when he fell asleep.

Records show Guerra has a criminal history including alcohol and drug violations. He was on probation at the time of the attack.
