I agree with you... And the US military has been almost the perfect example of the effectiveness of a meritocracy. The most brilliant and technically educated white men have risen through the ranks to lead. While even at the 'grunt' level the military chose healthy young men capable of doing the tasks asigned to them.

Zog was smart enough for awhile to not infect the military with the same ideology that is crushing corporations and society at large. For example affirmative action, dumbing down, being 'sensitive' and so on. But now we see that ideology coming into the military.

Uh, yes, and there are several places people go for BMT, depending on their MOS. I am not going to argue with you, it is NOT like this in most facilities. Yes, the Army is full of idiots and is being watered down, but BMT is not like what the article says besides a couple places.

there were some funny bits trashing the USless military in the old beavis and butthead series, early in the series. i think one was called BE ALL YOU CAN BE. another one featured a guidance councelor suggesting b and b enter the militar when all other options were futile.

that ol' mike judge (gentile) is one funny son of a bitch. his show was put on mtv because mtv MISUNDERSTOOD him. they thought he was "subversive" for their specific purposes. wrong! that's why they tried everything they could to get it off the air, even though it was enormously popular. there WERE quite a few episodes not so great, but judge lost creative control after the first season, i think, or at least partially, anyway.

The intermediate phase is something we will go through, want it or not. In the final phase, black, slow and visible targets are preferable. Is that too much to want?

We were officially at war in 1943-1944, I think.

Bulgaria isn't really being OCCUPIED, per se. The US has been putting bases up ALL OVER the place. The former Soviet Republics in Central Asia all have USAF bases in them, we've got bases in Georgia, Turkey, and the rest of the Caucusses, much of Eastern Europe has agreed to allow either US bases or contingients of US forces on their own bases, and we already know about the bases in UK and Germany. It seems like the US is moving in to fill the power vacuum left after the Soviet Union collapsed, and we've got MASSIVE influence in the former Soviet Bloc. The Russians hate this, BTW.

We often pay out a lot of money/aid to the countries hosting US forces. I wouldn't really worry too much about it from the American WN perspective, but if I were a WN in any of the countries where the US has bases, I'd be concerned. The time for American WN's to worry is when other countries troops start having their own bases here.

B&B: uh..1, 2, 5, or something...(can't remember the rest)
GC: (interrupting) do you have at least 7 teeth?
GC: do you have any metal plates in your skull?
Butt-head: uh, we're metal-HEADS...huh huh huh uh uh huh
