Federal investigators say they will look into racially charged,
anti-Barack Obama post cards mailed out in the Milwaukee area.

Today's TMJ4 is aware of at least two voters upset by postcards received in their mailbox Saturday. A postal inspector now wants to know how many others got the same message.

"It's a very cowardly approach," said Peter Godfrey who got one of the postcards. "If that's your feeling, fine, but as far as I'm concerned they can keep it to themselves."

The postcard contains a single, yet disturbing sentence with a derogatory term for an African-American. It reads "only a 'n' lover willvote for Obama." Each post card has a different return address apparently picked at random by the sender. The cards are postmarked Milwaukee.

"When I flipped it over and saw the message that was on there, it was a little shocking to say the least," said Todd Herka who also received the postcard.

The Republican Party says they do not condone this hateful display. An Obama spokesperson called this an ugly and intolerant tactic. The postal inspector's office would like to hear from anyone who received the card.
