Similar to Saddam Hussein when he wanted to start selling oil for euros, Gaddafi wants to form a single african currency backed by gold and start selling oil for it. The article mentions that if this move goes through, it will crash the US$ by 70%. Pegging a currency to gold goes against the jew IMF rules.

Of course, this drove the jews into a frenzy, so they started a war against him.

Real Cause for Gaddafi's Expulsion: Wanted Gold Currency?
Thursday, May 05, 2011 – by Russia Today

Some believe it [the NATO/US-led Libyan invasion] is about protecting civilians, others say it is about oil, but some are convinced intervention in Libya is all about Gaddafi's plan to introduce the gold dinar, a single African currency made from gold, a true sharing of the wealth.

Gaddafi did not give up. In the months leading up to the military intervention, he called on African and Muslim nations to join together to create this new currency that would rival the dollar and euro. They would sell oil and other resources around the world only for gold dinars.

It is an idea that would shift the economic balance of the world.

Qaddafi: World Mathaba Conference on Gold Dinar and Single African Currency
Posted: 2011/05/09

One of the 8 reasons NATO is attacking is the Gold Dinar advocated by Qaddafi. None of the 8 reasons has anything to do with murderous NATO protecting civilians.

“It’s one of these things that you have to plan almost in secret, because as soon as you say you’re going to change over from the dollar to something else, you’re going to be targeted,” says Ministry of Peace founder Dr James Thring. “There were two conferences on this, in 1986 and 2000, called the World Mathaba conference, organized by Gaddafi. Everybody was interested, most countries in Africa were keen.”
