I posted an article here a while back about some yid turning down $800,000 in California for his 1974 mobile home. He said for a cool million he would talk.

A while back I missed out on a deal of undeveloped hillside land that sold at $40,000 for 700 acres. Overall the land would be useless because it was hillside land and no one could ever live on it, however I own a piece of property that joined it. That meant that that no one could have owned within 350 acres on either side of me.

Land here can go from $70,000 for a quarter acre, to buying a decent 3-bedroom brick home for $28,000 with a half-acre lot. It depends on the location and how close to town you are. The farther you are in the sticks and the whiter the area the cheaper the land. If you go into a county here that has a population of 4,000 (the town has a population of 400) and all of them are white you can buy a nice home for about $30,000.

I look at every real estate brochure within 200 miles every week. I also look at the online real estate brokers so I will find every good deal and will know trends and prices. If I find something cheap I try to buy it.
