This is a story about a guy who convinced another man that he was a woman. They messed around a little and the guy found out he was with a man and became enraged. This is now being used to make the case for why "transgender" people are under threat and therefore in need of special protections. Um, yeah, if you play games like the "victim" played, you might just piss someone off. It is perfectly natural for them to be pissed off and then from there, who knows what might happen. This is not a "hate crime" that should result in a greater penalty, if anything this is a heat of the moment type of crime that should result in a lesser sentence. The killer appears to be a mexican gang banger, so I couldn't care less about him in particular, BUT I don't like the direction a case like this takes us in AT ALL.
