Two Texas teens are facing jail time for swiping a cashbox that belonged to a pair of Girl Scouts selling cookies, police said.
Justin Rogers-Zenon, 18, was arrested last week after turning himself in, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Friday.
An unidentified 16-year-old was also arrested, police said. His name was not released because he is a juvenile.

The pair pretended to be cookie-hungry customers last weekend when they approached two Girl Scouts outside a Wal-Mart, according to the Houston Chronicle.

“[Rogers-Zenon] acted as if he was going to purchase cookies but grabbed a cashbox instead and raced to a small vehicle which had pulled up in front of the stand,” police said.
The Scouts chased after the suspect, but one of them - a 15-year-old - was knocked to the ground, authorities said. She suffered cuts and bruises in the fall."
