I did two tours in Viet Nam(which makes Iraq look like grammar school recess) and came back to New Orleans with PTSD X 10,000 + and got Zip from the VA and the rest of "civilian society".

I served in the Army, and my older brother in law was in the 101st in country 1967-68 14 months. He dealt with heavy fighting, and conditon's far worse, but back then there was not anything like the p.c. of today, plus the Army as a whole was much Whiter. Any women in the Army back then were in medical or head quarter office's.

The "Piece Corps" volunteers were in full effect in those days and daddies were sending their little Candy Striper's Nurses to all us wounded soldiers.I got clipped a couple of times and they made me feel so much better.

In Iraq there are literally thousands of paid media whores working 24/7 -male and female.Reporters,Journalist and each one has a camera crew and support units.I've been there and it's not as unpleasant as it might seem;aside from the obvious fact that the place is getting blown up every fucking day.
