BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) - A Belgian prosecutor on Tuesday recommended that the U.S.-based Church of Scientology stand trial for fraud and extortion, following a 10- year investigation that concluded the group should be labeled a criminal organization.

Belgium, Germany and other European countries have been criticized by the State Department for labeling Scientology as a cult or sect and enacting laws to restrict its operations.

If Belgian authorities have evidence that individuals violated Belgian law, they should take appropriate legal steps, consistent with Belgium's international obligations to protect freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. We would, however, oppose any effort to stigmatize an entire group based solely upon religious beliefs and would be concerned over infringement of any individual’s rights because of religious affiliation.

If you don't know this, the state department is basically the jewish mafia, which in turn supports CIA operations. It's this way no matter what political party is in power.

If you take a city, a city that has certain things going on, this certain city usually also has a scientology office/compound located there. These certain things usually involve very dirty shit the CIA is involved with.

It seems that Europe is more wary of our government than the american sheeple.
