Ben Obama’s special envoy to Sudan Gen. Scott Gration speaking at the US State Department on September 15, 2010 said: “Whether they secede (Darfur) or whether they still stay unified, the South still needs to have better governance, better security, better agriculture, better education, better delivery of public sector services, and so we’re continuing to build those. And if it remains united or if it becomes independent, the international community, the United Nations, all of us have a large role and things that we can do to make sure that Sudan is either successful as a whole or as two countries hopefully at peace with each other”.

Now, one may dare to ask the ‘world’s moral policeman’ – would Scott Gration has the moral conscience to make a similar statement about Israel, Gaza and the West Bank? After all, both the north and south Sudanese have lived together for many many centuries – while the Jews in Israel were brought in Palestine 62 years ago to resolve West’s “Jewish Problem”.

Scott Gration also stressed that the refrendum must be held free of government interfrence (the rule doesn’t apply to the US or EU interference) and the results must be acceptable to the UN and world community (meaning US and Israel) before Washington consider re-establishing diplomatic relations with Khartoum. In other words, the idiot really believe that Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashier is another Fatah President Mahmoud Abbas!!

Khartoum has rejected US package of incentives offered by the United States to ensure the holding of a referendum for independence of oil-rich southern Sudan.

Washington has announced that it will introduce a package of incentives, including restoring full diplomatic relations and allowing some non-oil trade and investments, in an effort to induce Sudan to run the referendum in January 2011.

“We reject in principle the issue of incentives and pressures. This is an unacceptable matter,” Ghazi Salahuddin, a Sudanese presidential adviser, told reporters on Wednesday.

In July 2007, during an interview with Saudi newspaper Okaz, Sudan’s defense minister, Abdel Rahim Mohamed Hussein, had claimed that 24 US Jewish organizations are campaigning against Islamist regime in Khartoum for Israel. These Jewish organizations provide political and material support through their control over the media and across American and British circles,” said the minister.

Israeli media has admitted that over US$50 million from the “Save Darfur” fund have been transfered to the Zionist entity to build new Jewish settlements on land stolen from the Native Muslims and Christians.

Israel’s dirty fingers are visible behind the US-Sudan conflict as in the case of US-Iran conflict. US-Sudan relation has been strained since 1989 when a military coup brought the Islamists in power which has refused to sleep with US-Israel like the previous military dictator Nimeiry. In 1993, the US designated Sudan a “State Sponsor of Terror,” in response to the suspected presence of al-Qaeda (Made in Israel as in Gaza and Yemen) and sanctions were imposed in 1997. In 1998 US cruise missiles attacked a Sudanese pharmaceutical plant suspected of developing chemical weapons by Israeli Mossad. In March 2009 – Israeli planes using US military base at Djibouti – attacked a Sudanese military convoy, killing all 39 Sudanese, Eritreans and Ethiopians passengers.

Like in the cases of Islamic Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan – the Israeli vultures are dangling the oil carrot in front of the brainwashed US public. Sudan has more than 12% of world’s known oil reserves and the major foreign developer of the oil fields is China.

Among the 42 million Sudanese population – 70% are Muslims, 5% Christians and 25% belong to local religions.
