I was reading something about the "queer scene" in NYC. And a thought struck me. An odd thought.

Imagine if, instead of spending enormous amounts of time and energy trying to convince themselves, and the world, that they are "normal," if the queers instead all joined together (there may be 10,000 of them in NYC) and did something good for the community, on a regular basis, like cleaning up the public parks, or engaging in anti-crime street patrols, or similar good deeds? Hmm? Can you imagine? They would actually be using their numbers to help the community, instead of using their numbers for sleaze and debauchery. And that could apply to any city: Boston, Phoenix, Seattle, etc. Can you imagine? What if?
