LAKELAND – A Polk County sheriff’s deputy was killed and another shot in the leg about 12:30 p.m. today after they pursued a motorist who ran away from a traffic stop.

Deputy Vernon Matthew “Matt” Williams and his K-9 were shot to death, officials said. Deputy Doug Speirs was shot in the leg but was expected to recover.

When he was first stopped by the deputy for speeding, the suspect identified himself as Eswardo O. Ramclaim, 32, of Miami, but Polk authorities don’t believe that’s his real name. As the search continued this evening, Polk Sheriff Grady Judd said officers hoped to take him alive but “we are prepared for a gunfight if he wants a gunfight.”

A massive manhunt is under way for the suspect, described as a black man with a Jamaican accent with dreadlocks wearing a white or light colored shirt and dark pants.

I do not follow your logic. I know that law and order will have to be a strong part of an WN nation that I will be a part of, and it is a necessary part for any nation. So you are saying then that whites should not become law officers, and those that do are zog scum ?

I agree with you Holly. I grew up with a couple of guys who were racially aware and eventually became cops (one state police officer and one local). Although they can't be outspoken about it, I would imagine there are a fair number of cops who think just like us.
