Richard Adams, the author of the classic children's novel Watership Down, has died aged 96.
The writer, from Whitchurch, Hampshire, 'passed away peacefully' at 10pm on Christmas Eve, according to a statement released by his family.
The World War Two veteran conjured up Watership Down during bedtime story-telling sessions with his two daughters, Rosamond and Juliet.
Of course, this get over shadowed by skurvy Jewesses and AIDS ridden faggots. I remember reading this years ago and I don't really remember anything overtly Jewish or pro-multicultural about Watership Down. It was a story of beating the odds and creating a new home for your family. I think the genius of the work is that it's good for young chlidren, but still has the depth to appeal to older people.
