Hate letter to NAACP investigated
BALTIMORE, July 25 (UPI) -- U.S. federal agents are conducting a nationwide investigation of a threatening letter filled with a white powdery substance sent to the NAACP in Baltimore.
Marvin "Doc" Cheatham, president of the Baltimore chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, says the letter was received last Friday and since then his office has been taking extra mail precautions, reports WJZ-TV, Baltimore.
The FBI is investigating the letter as a hate crime.
Cheatham, who opened the letter, says a similar letter was sent to the NAACP's New York City chapter. He said he had just attended the group's national convention in Washington.
"The FBI when they got here, they did in fact go in," Cheatham told the television station. "They would not let me see all of the letter, but indicated immediately once they began to read it that it was definitely a hate crime situation."
Tests showed the powder was boric acid, a pesticide that is only dangerous if ingested, the report said.

Who here recalls the name of the Jew that actually sent Anthrax to Senator Daschele's office? You know, that kike the FBI refuses investigate and chose to harrass the White man named Steve Hatfill. The Jew's name was Zack, or something like that.
