Will Private Gold Be Confiscated Again?

President F.D. Roosevelt also banned the private ownership of gold in April 1933, just after he took office (very suspicious!): "Any American caught owning gold after that date (May 1st, 1933) would be hit with a federal felony prosecution and face a penalty of up to five to ten years in jail and a $10,000 fine." -- www.fff.org (Why a felony?
