As if White people needed more reason to avoid fast food
SAN FERNANDO (KTLA) -- A Sylmar woman claims she found a maggot inside a bucket of chicken she bought at a KFC in San Fernando.
On Monday, Michelle Salazar told KTLA that her family went to KFC and bought a bucket of chicken to share.
When they got back home and started to eat, the youngest brother said, "there's a maggot in my chicken" and shortly after, Salazar says he started throwing up.
Within 15-20 minutes, all four family members started to feel sick, Salazar says.
They bagged up the chicken as evidence and went to the doctor.
Salazar says, "we all had a stomachache, we all went to the clinic and they tell us we were sick and we had an infection in the intestine."

The doctor put all four family members on IV's and gave them antibiotics, according Salazar.
Initially, Salazar says KFC would not return her calls but later, after sharing her story with KTLA, lawyers from KFC called Salazar and asked her to refrain from speaking to the media.
