News of the lie was revealed by Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, in a letter to the FBI and Justice Department, in which he asked them to prosecute one Judy Munro-Leighton for lying to and obstructing Congress.

Munro-Leighton admitted that she made up her tale of a backseat car rape, saying it “was a tactic” to try to derail the judge’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Grassley said Munro-Leighton is a left-wing activist who sent in an anonymous report about a backseat rape, calling it a “vicious assault.”

Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation process was delayed while the committee investigated a number of sexual assault and harassment claims, none of which have been corroborated by any public evidence to date. He was confirmed, though only one Democrat joined with all but one Republican in backing him.

After his confirmation, a mob of deranged leftists screamed and banged on the Senate’s doors, and Democratic feminists all around the country have made the anti-Kavanaugh protests a central issue of their made-up anti-male propaganda campaign.
