Hussein has requested death by firing squad, saying that hanging is a death for "common criminals"

I remember him fondly now, he has some serious gonads! We have never had business in Iraq - they have never attacked us.
So he gassed some Kurds in the 80s, not our business. He shouldn't have been removed from power by anyone but his own people.
They need to let the Sunnis, Kurds, and Shiites have their own countries now that we've created this whole mess something good should come of it. Allow each tribe to govern themselves in a land of their own.

sentenced to death?.....BIG FCKN DEAL!....Saddam(that's IF IT IS actually 'Saddam' who's on trial & not one of his innumerable 'doubles'!) has been sentenced to death on three prior occasions, if my memory serves.....i'm sure he's USED TO IT by now......any-way: he's got other trials to 'front' and an appeal process........un-less they pull a Slobodan Milosevic on him & arrange 'a medical emergency'!

The Iranians hate Sadam's guts. You can’t blame them for that after the war between the two countries. Sadam Hussein danced to the tune of zogusa at the time .Even supplied chemical weapons.
The Iranian revolution prompted zogusa to launch a war against Iran via Iraq.
It was a war of not conquering, (at least that's what Sadam though when zog merely supplied limited tech-support) but depleting both sides economically, and blood.
Much like in WW2, zog fiddle while Europe burned.

Reminds me of a joke.
