Syrian care worker jailed for one year in Sweden after sexually assaulting 67-year-old woman who later died
The elderly victim died just over two weeks after the attack

A 26-year-old Syrian man has been sentenced to one year in prison and a 10-year expulsion order after sexually assaulting a 67-year-old woman under his care in Vänersborg, Sweden. The victim died under unclear circumstances just weeks after the attack. The assault occurred on the morning of April 3 last year, when the woman’s son received a phone call from his mother. All he could hear at first were screams. She then managed to tell him that a man from the home care service had sexually assaulted her.As reported by Samnytt, the victim later identified the perpetrator as Mahamad Almousa, a 26-year-old Syrian national who had previously worked in the NU healthcare system and was then employed in home care in Vänersborg. The woman told investigators that Almousa groped her breasts under her clothing, climbed on top of her in bed, and “squirmed and moaned” while she felt he had an erection. Although she told him to stop, she was too weak to push him away.
Jailed Afghan migrant who threatened to kill Nigel Farage terrorized Sweden for years, yet was never deported
Fayaz Husseini, a convicted criminal repeatedly ordered to be deported from Sweden, entered Britain by small boat under a false name and threatened to shoot Nigel Farage in a TikTok video

Fayaz Husseini, who illegally entered the U.K. on a small boat under a false name, has been sentenced to five years in prison after threatening to shoot Reform U.K. leader Nigel Farage in a TikTok video — despite years of criminal convictions and multiple deportation orders in Sweden that were never enforced.
Husseini, who called himself Fayaz Khan and “Mada Pasa” online, pointed to an AK-47 tattoo on his face and said he would “pop, pop, pop” the MP for Clacton in an October 2024 video. Husseini’s remarks were in response to a video Farage made that included the Afghan migrant, in which the politician bemoaned “young males of fighting age coming into our country, about whom we know very little.”
Husseini crossed the English Channel with 64 other migrants and livestreamed the journey to hundreds of thousands of viewers.
Authorities later established that the man, described as 26-year-old Fayaz Khan in British media, is likely 31-year-old Fayaz Husseini, who arrived in Sweden from Kabul in 2015. He had been rejected for asylum, ordered to be deported, and convicted of a string of offenses — including knife possession, threats, drug crimes, vandalism, and possession of counterfeit currency — but remained in the country for nearly a decade due to legal appeals and political decisions.
