Moment Sudanese migrant tries to kidnap schoolgirl in terrifying attack before heroic bystanders intervene

An illegal immigrant attempted to kidnap a schoolgirl off the street before heroic bystanders intervened.
Abdulmawal Ibrahim Adam, 27, from Sudan, tried to snatch the terrified 17-year-old girl at around 9.30pm as she walked home from work in Swindon.
CCTV showed Adam drag the girl across a road against her will after he approached her from behind at a set of traffic lights.
But members of the public waiting at a bus stop witnessed the attack and raced to intervene - stopping the teenager from being snatched.
Adam initially refused to engage with the police. But yesterday he pleaded guilty to attempted kidnap

After a migrant from Cameroon was arrested for stabbing a woman and sexually assaulting another woman in a short period of time, police say he confessed to them that he wanted to “slit the throats of White women.”
The man was arrested on Nov. 9 in Bordeaux, France, after stabbing a woman who was out jogging in the back. The victim was rushed to the hospital. Her injuries did not turn out to be life-threatening, but she required emergency intervention.
The attacker was arrested shortly after the stabbing. The man is already known to the police for strangling a young woman on a public highway back in 2023, according to French news outlet JDD.

An Afghan man deemed psychologically ill faced a German court on Thursday over a deadly knife attack on a group of toddlers that his defence lawyer labelled the 'deed of a madman'.
The stabbings nine months ago in a park in the southern city of Aschaffenburg killed a two-year-old boy and a 41-year-old man who tried to protect the children, and left three others wounded.
Prosecutors acknowledged that the 28-year-old who set upon the daycare group with a kitchen knife on January 22 was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
The attack, which came just a month before German national elections, inflamed an already heated debate on migration.

Burnley man jailed in absence after brave 11-year-old girl fought him off during attempted rape

A Burnley man who tried to rape an 11-year-old girl has been sentenced to more than ten years in prison - despite going on the run partway through his trial.
Muhammad Zahid, 59, attempted to rape the child in 2021 but failed after the brave victim managed to kick him off her.

An “appalling” predator who sexually assaulted a young girl after plying her with alcohol and drugs has had his “lenient” sentence increased.

Man groomed and raped schoolgirl, 12, in his car

A man described by police as a "dangerous, depraved pervert" has been jailed for raping a 12-year-old schoolgirl.
Aqueel Hussain, 33, groomed the girl on Snapchat and told her he was 19, eventually arranging to meet in Colne on 28 November, Lancashire Police said.
CCTV footage captured Hussain accompanying the victim, who was dressed in her school uniform, into a shop where he bought her a phone charger, before assaulting her in the back of his car.

A 35-year-old man from Albi, Abdelkader K., a French national with a migrant background, was arrested for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl and masturbating on a highway. Once in custody, he responded to a policewoman’s questions with “incessant farting.”
The man has a lengthy criminal record, and was arrested in late September on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, which included “rubbing his genitals” on a 16-year-old girl, according to French newspaper Le Depeche.
His next court appearance is on Nov. 18. His time in police custody following the arrest did not go smoothly, leading to additional charges.
