After the founding a month ago of the local branch in Langenthal this Sunday, 6th March 2005 the PNOS once again had another start-up on the agenda. Today in Canton Solothurn the party could celebrate the introduction of a new section.
In the decorated meeting hall about 40 interested persons assembled at two o'clock in the afternoon to listen to six speakers. What turned out to be an interesting afternoon with diverse topics began with Dominic Bannholzer greeting the assembled guests. Afterwards he introduced the executive of the PNOS Section Solothurn, consisting of himself as a section chairman and Denise Friedrich as the vice chairperson as well as Philippe Burgherr and then went to talk about their aspirations for Solothurn. He concluded his speech with some fighting talk and promised that political action would follow. He summed up the strategy briefly and succinctly with the words “Get active, go straight to the people!”. After that followed the first guest speaker Pascal Lüthard Chairman of the Bern Section. He spoke in the manner to which we are all now accustomed from him with strong and direct words. His contribution concerned the party and its task in the community. He clarified emphatically how important it is for the party to make its appearance in public and to openly voice its opinion. Quoting freely from Schiller he closed with the words: “I know I do justice, and am afraid of nobody!“
After this lively talk the PNOS Town Councilor of Langenthal, Tobias Hirschi spoke about problems with Multi-culturalism in Langenthal and delivered some interesting background knowledge about migration and its causes.

After a short recess in which the visitors had the opportunity to refresh themselves and to choose various items of literature about the PNOS Denise Friedrich held an informative presentation over family politics in Solothurn and explained the stance of the PNOS on this subject. She reported on the position of the mother in today's society and pointed repeatedly to the wretched situation in which the Swiss family finds itself today. The three main reasons for the present situation among women according to her are: The low self-esteem of mothers, financial shortages and the desire to follow a career. Then she went on to the drastic consequences of the lack of children in today's typical Swiss family. She also severely criticized the new Swiss maternity insurance scheme which though showing good intentions was severely flawed in its implementation because it only supported working mothers. Then a speech followed on the subject of Globalization in which the speaker pointed out the differences in the criticism of globalization from confederal-socialist and the left-wing points of view while denouncing international working-class competition. Before Dominic Bannholzer closed the meeting Jonas Gysin, the PNOS Chairman spoke some spontaneously words to the leadership of the freshly formed section thanking them warmly for the successful organization of the event and wished them the very best in their future political work.

They should really expand past just the German-Audience in Swiss, they should put more effort to reaching out to the French and Italians as well.

I would hazard a guess that with Switzerland being a tri-lingual state that added problems are bound to occur.

As I understand it the PNOS have a french translator now. Perhaps our Italian comrades can help translations ?

Met some great Italian nationalists in Madrid, in 2000, at the Franco/Jose Antonio rallies. They had a good 'team' out, numbering at least 100.
