Eén ding wat deze man vertelt moet ik corrigeren; en dat is dat detail over de herkomst het zes miljoen getal, dat gebaseerd zou zijn op het aantal van zes miljoen banen die Hitler gecreëerd had. Het getal dateert echter van ver voor de Hitler tijd, ja zelfs van voor de eerste wereldoorlog.

Tijdens de eerste wereldoorlog werden de Duitsers er in propaganda verhalen van beschuldigd dat zij stoffelijke overschotten van gesneuvelde soldaten fabrieksmatig verwerkten, o.a. tot diervoeder, glycerine (vet) en zeep. Klik hier voor meer details over deze Kadaververwerkungsanstalt verhalen.

Dit gruwelverhaal werd gebruikt om ervoor te zorgen dat de legers elkaar na een kerstbestand weer begonnen af te slachten. Tijdens dat bestand hadden zij namelijk vriendschap met elkaar gesloten, ze speelden voetbalwedstrijden en poseerden gezamenlijk op foto's. Dat paste echter niet in de duistere plannen van de oorlogs hitsers achter de schermen.

Zo'n oorlogs hitser was de jood Edward Bernays, een neef van Sigmund Freud.

Deze onvoorstelbare rat zette zijn activiteiten na de eerste wereldoorlog voort, maar nu om de massa's er toe aan te zetten om dingen te kopen die zij niet nodig hadden, of massa's anderszins aan te sporen tot bepaald gedrag.

Bernays liked contests. For a quarter of a century, the National Soap Sculpture Competition in White Soap inspired millions of school children to find "creative and artistic expression... Children, the enemies of soap, would be conditioned to enjoy using Ivory." Winning sculptures were sent to national exhibitions in New York and museums around the country earning international media coverage. P&G made it an annual event, "symbolizing white floating Ivory soap.

When the Norge made the first blimp trip across the North Pole in 1926, Bernays made sure that everyone knew it used P&G glycerin.

Hij organiseerde - om zijn methodes te testen - o.a. een campagne om het toenmalige taboe op roken bij vrouwen te doorbreken, wat hem lukte door sigaretten door een groep actrices te laten promoten als 'torches of freedom'. In 1928 schreef Bernays een boek, Propaganda, waarin hij betoogde dat de massa's op een wetenschappelijke manier gemanipuleerd moeten worden, in naam van de democratie.

Toen de eerste wereldoorlog een vervolg kreeg en de tweede wereldoorlog uitbrak, trokken de 'forces of democracy' de oude verhalen over de 'corpse factories' weer uit de kast en staken deze in een aangepast jasje, vergezeld van andere verhalen die grotendeels ook uit de eerste wereldoorlog stamden. Deze verhalen werden in 1945 o.l.v. een speciale afdeling van het Amerikaanse leger, Psyche Warfare, ingezet als als psychologische shocktherapie tegen het onderworpen Duitsland. De zeer goede documentaire Buchenwald, die ik iedereen aanraad te bekijken, exposeert dit feit. Sla het op, want er is een grote kans dat het verdwijnt!
(De shocktherapie zoals die in 1945 werd toegepast op volwassenen, wordt tegenwoordig overigens toegepast op Duitse jongeren)

Nu mogen jullie één keer raden wie er achter dat plan voor die psychologische shocktherapie zat... Het was een zekere meneer Bernays, maar nu de zwager van Edward Bernays, Murray Bernays! :crazy Sterker nog: hij zat tevens achter de procedures van het Neurenberg tribunaal!
