RESTAURANT GIVES IN TO JEWISH LIARS
MUMBAI (Bombay), India — A restaurant named after Adolf Hitler that enraged Mumbai’s Jewish community will soon have a new moniker, its owner promised Thursday.
Puneet Sablok said he would remove Hitler’s name and the Nazi swastika from billboards and the eatery’s menu after it had angered so many people. He had previously said the name and symbols were only meant to attract attention.
“Yes, I have decided to change the name. I never wanted to hurt people’s feelings,” said Sablok, who made the decision after meeting with members from Mumbai’s small Jewish community.
“Once they told me how upset they were with the name, I decided to change it. I never wanted to create this controversy or hurt people with this name,” said Sablok. “I don’t want to do business by hurting people.”
Hitler’s Cross opened five days ago and serves pizza, salad and pastries in Navi Mumbai, a suburb of Mumbai, also known as Mumbai.
Mumbai’s Jews had called the theme of the restaurant offensive, and demanded a name change. There are about 5,500 Jews in India, with about 4,500 of them living in Mumbai.
On Thursday, Mumbai’s Jewish community welcomed Sablok’s decision. “He realized he made a mistake and listened to reason,” said Elijah Jacob, a community leader.
“Some people have wrong conceptions of history and he realized it was not appropriate.”
Some Indians regard Hitler as just another historical figure and have little knowledge about the Holocaust. Swastikas, an ancient Hindu symbol appropriated by the Nazis, are displayed all over India to bring luck.

State fights to fire trooper tied to Klan

OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) — Robert Henderson was not fired as a state trooper because he belonged to the Ku Klux Klan and another white supremacist group, authorities said.
Instead, he was ousted because he could not uphold public trust while participating in such groups, they said.

An arbitrator disagreed, ordering the State Patrol to reinstate Henderson within 60 days and pay him back wages. The state went to court Friday to keep him off the force.
“The integrity of Nebraska’s law enforcement is at risk,” Attorney General Jon Bruning said at news conference in Lincoln. “The Constitution does not require law enforcement to employ anyone tied to the KKK.”

In a summary of the causes for firing Henderson in March, the State Patrol said membership in the KKK “seriously compromised” Henderson’s ability to do his job.
Henderson and the state troopers union appealed and, under its contract, went to binding arbitration, to get his job back.
Arbitrator Paul J. Caffera, a New York lawyer, last week overturned the firing.
He said Henderson was entitled to his First Amendment rights of free speech and that the state violated the troopers’ contract, in part when it fired Henderson “because of his association with the Knights Party … and the Ku Klux Klan.”
According to a copy of Caffera’s ruling, Henderson was interviewed by a patrol captain in February. He confirmed he had been a member of the Knights Party since June 2004 and made postings on its members-only Web site while off-duty.
Henderson also said he had joined the KKK, according to the arbitrator’s report. He did so, he said, for two reasons: His wife had “divorced him for a minority” and the KKK gave him an avenue to vent his frustration.
Attempts to reach Henderson on Friday were unsuccessful. The state troopers union refused to comment, referring calls to its attorney, Vincent Valentino.
Valentino said Henderson has resigned his Knights Party membership and apologized to the State Patrol commander, Col. Bryan Tuma. The attorney also said Bruning and Tuma blew Henderson’s membership and activities out of proportion.
“Bob Henderson wasn’t running around in a sheet and hood,” he said.
Besides, Valentino said, “State employees have a right to think in private what they think.”
Tuma said a review of Henderson’s record showed no pattern of bias or misconduct against minorities.
“There were no concerns whatsoever that he was engaged in any profiling or any biased treatment of any minority,” he said.
Nonetheless, Bruning said, “This trooper can join the KKK, but he can’t remain a trooper while he is a member.”

I have an Indian customer who is one of the few people I can have an intelligent, open political discussion with. He hates God’s chosen as much as we do. He tells me that the reason most of Indias’ jews are in Mumbai is because it is their banking center. Imagine that – jews attracted to banking. Whodoa thunkit?

The UK Terror plot: what’s really going on?

I have been reading very carefully through all the Sunday newspapers to try and analyse the truth from all the scores of pages claiming to detail the so-called bomb plot. Unlike the great herd of so-called security experts doing the media analysis, I have the advantage of having had the very highest security clearances myself, having done a huge amount of professional intelligence analysis, and having been inside the spin machine.
So this, I believe, is the true story.
None of the alleged terrorists had made a bomb. None had bought a plane ticket. Many did not even have passports, which given the efficiency of the UK Passport Agency would mean they couldn’t be a plane bomber for quite some time.
In the absence of bombs and airline tickets, and in many cases passports, it could be pretty difficult to convince a jury beyond reasonable doubt that individuals intended to go through with suicide bombings, whatever rash stuff they may have bragged in internet chat rooms.
What is more, many of those arrested had been under surveillance for over a year — like thousands of other British Muslims. And not just Muslims. Like me. Nothing from that surveillance had indicated the need for early arrests.
Then an interrogation in Pakistan revealed the details of this amazing plot to blow up multiple planes — which, rather extraordinarily, had not turned up in a year of surveillance. Of course, the interrogators of the Pakistani dictator have their ways of making people sing like canaries. As I witnessed in Uzbekistan, you can get the most extraordinary information this way. Trouble is it always tends to give the interrogators all they might want, and more, in a desperate effort to stop or avert torture. What it doesn’t give is the truth.
The gentleman being “interrogated” had fled the UK after being wanted for questioning over the murder of his uncle some years ago. That might be felt to cast some doubt on his reliability. It might also be felt that factors other than political ones might be at play within these relationships. Much is also being made of large transfers of money outside the formal economy. Not in fact too unusual in the British Muslim community, but if this activity is criminal, there are many possibilities that have nothing to do with terrorism.
We then have the extraordinary question of Bush and Blair discussing the possible arrests over the weekend. Why? I think the answer to that is plain. Both in desperate domestic political trouble, they longed for “Another 9/11”. The intelligence from Pakistan, however dodgy, gave them a new 9/11 they could sell to the media. The media has bought, wholesale, all the rubbish they have been shovelled.
We then have the appalling political propaganda of John Reid, Home Secretary, making a speech warning us all of the dreadful evil threatening us and complaining that “Some people don’t get” the need to abandon all our traditional liberties. He then went on, according to his own propaganda machine, to stay up all night and minutely direct the arrests. There could be no clearer evidence that our Police are now just a political tool. Like all the best nasty regimes, the knock on the door came in the middle of the night, at 2.30am. Those arrested included a mother with a six week old baby.
For those who don’t know, it is worth introducing Reid. A hardened Stalinist with a long term reputation for personal violence, at Stirling Univeristy he was the Communist Party’s “Enforcer”, (in days when the Communist Party ran Stirling University Students’ Union, which it should not be forgotten was a business with a very substantial cash turnover). Reid was sent to beat up those who deviated from the Party line.
We will now never know if any of those arrested would have gone on to make a bomb or buy a plane ticket. Most of them do not fit the “Loner” profile you would expect — a tiny percentage of suicide bombers have happy marriages and young children. As they were all under surveillance, and certainly would have been on airport watch lists, there could have been little danger in letting them proceed closer to maturity — that is certainly what we would have done with the IRA.
In all of this, the one thing of which I am certain is that the timing is deeply political. This is more propaganda than plot. Of the over one thousand British Muslims arrested under anti-terrorist legislation, only twelve per cent are ever charged with anything. That is simply harrassment of Muslims on an appalling scale. Of those charged, 80% are acquitted. Most of the very few — just over two per cent of arrests — who are convicted, are not convicted of anything to do terrorism, but of some minor offence the Police happened upon while trawling through the wreck of the lives they had shattered.
Be sceptical. Be very, very sceptical.

MORE FAKE TERROR IN LONDON
Remember the ricin plot, the plot with no plot and no ricin? Like a recurring nightmare, the cycle has begun again. Phase one is the discovery of a massive terror plan, suspects are arrested, one or two suspects vanish, often the suspected ringleaders. Lots of contradictory information emerges from “security sources”. Potentially troublemakeing journalists are thrown an extra bit of gossip, news editors know that if they express any scepticism the “security sources” will dry up.
In phase two sceptics notice that the event is timed very nicely for Messrs Bush and Blair, it emerges the vanished suspects are police informers (check the recent Florida and Montreal “plots”), the accused are dreamers with no capability while the ringleaders are in Pakistan and cannot be extradited.
The case is quietly dropped or the hapless suspects are convicted on the basis of their “intent”. By this stage the media are in amnesia mode, it’s all buried in the inside pages. But nonetheless they maintain their presumption that we are all under an appalling terror threat. Potentially sceptical readers are distracted with a “debate” on a secondary issue: is the war against Islam helping to fuel the massive wave of terrorism we are all suffering from?
The answer is: the war is making people very angry but most people in the Islamic world are well aware of the Empire’s fake terror strategy. In any case the road from being angry to being an effective professional terrorist is a very long one. If an individual who does not have the capability to do something is helped by a police informer who is then shielded, it is the state which is committing terrorism.
