But the federal grand jury indictment also painted a picture of a group that had no weapons or other supplies for their alleged "jihad," that was intended to be "as good or greater than 9/11."

Narseal Batiste, considered the recruiter of the group, according to the document, tried to reach out to al Qaeda by contacting someone who was an FBI operative posing as a member of the terrorist network.

I'm no trick shooter but I did most of my training from the hip hitting bowling pins at 15 yards. Shooting at paper doesn't make you good. It's good to do but you have to involve other training. Most cops just practice once a month to qualify.

I don't know of many situations where the FBI "shoots from the hip". I am having a hard time understanding the relevance of your post. When a motherfucking FBI agent is 25 yards away from a target that is 3"X3" and they are putting every round in the black.....that is good shooting no matter who you are.

You don't understand the relevance cuz you are not a shooter. When you've got over 1 million rounds of shooting under your belt then you can talk.

A shooter is someone who has dedicated a large part of their time to shooting and the study thereof.

Putting rounds in a 3" target via raising the pistol to ones eyesite is not impressive and not going to do you much good in an ACTUAL gunfight.

Really, you need to practice constantly to be able to shoot well. I like shooting at veggies and fruits (no, not the human kind, yet). What I'll do is go out and buy a bag or two of potatoes, tomatoes and other stuff that blows up well and have a blast! The good thing about that is, there is no mess you have to pick up (targets, balloons, stuff like that) and you help your local farmer!

You can also make your own ballastic gel, but I don't have the receipe with me.

True enough. You'd have to be able to put it in the black if you terminate these enemy combatants. I would go for face shots, and you'd have to be able to group em tight to get your shots in the eyes and forehead. Even tighter for a throat shots.
