      We sent this post to absolutely everyone on our e-mail list, yesterday, with the reminder that freedom is like air– you hardly think of it until you are suffocating and then can think of nothing else– and the observation that one always manages to have a hundred dollars to fill-up the fuel tank or shop in bulk as an investment (Scroogle “alpha strategy”). Better we think to invest in freedom.

      “The usual suspects” represent maybe 2% of the American population. Granted they have a disproportionate share of American wealth and power. However it is estimated that less than 2% of Americans enthusiastically, vigorously supported, if not fought-in, the American Revolution: That was not a big number then and is not a lot of good men today.

      It is easy to talk one’s self out of supporting something that can make a difference even it is merely an encouraging show of hands that just stiffens the spines of others who are convinced there is not much intelligent life left out there.
